Asus M51

Omg ...


Omg this Asus M51 is such a good buy. The thing that attracts me is the Centrino 2 Processor and the 9500M Nvidia card ( though other M50 series offer it as well ).

How i wish i can reverse back the time. 5k which i used to spend on my "superb" hp laptop can buy this one liao. Haihz ...

The only thing is the 15.3 inch. Abit too big for me la ... Anyhow, this laptop is for gaming, as im not that "often gamer" anymore, so no use for me la to get this one now. Im aiming to get *ahem* .... ok dun wan say liao. Karma! =)

Reading threads/post about getting a new laptop on Lowyat Forum is so much more fun than flipping pages of the "thickest notes on earth" (SAP).

So weird rite? Got the real holiday for 2 days. Sat and Sun. But most probably will be doing shopping on my new *ahem* ( dun dare mention first. Believe in karma ) on that 2 days. Well, good luck to me.

Designer Designs?

Woohoo finally my laptop came back from the repair centre. Drove all the way to Pyramid just to collect it back.

Remember i was saying once that im suppose to design an e-card for the college?

So how's it? I know it sux because im lack of technical knowledge in designing software so pardon me. Im still wondering why they don't try asking a student in graphic design course to help them instead of asking me as a future-programmer student to do.

Anyway, i hope this will do or maybe i will come out with a few more designs. Hopefully.

Seems that the bad days have gone through.

The suffering of SAP that takes up all my precious holiday time (nevertheless fun), The break down of my laptop (which means no DotA) and the stress im holding for the coming SAP exam.

Here comes the brighter side.

The results for my semester was indeed unexpected (both positive and negative matter). Im rather pleased and felt grateful but at the same time, disappointed for one subject, which i cannot expect to get so low! For the other 3, sometimes i will be wondering do i actually deserve to get those marks xD? Not going to disclose the marks here, scare later you all call me lansi xD. Actually very satisfied but because of one stupid obscene grade that screws the whole lot glamorous atmosphere when i first look at my results, it makes it so fcked' tup.

So basically i dunno should i be happy or sad more. But i do think that my parents will be suprised with the results because even myself cant believe it lol. And yaya ^^ Im hoping to get my new laptop lalala~ (~whistling~).

Im in considering to get a MacBook Air but it seems a lil bit expensive and my parents might not be able to afford the price. But the thing is, since i already owned a laptop that can run Windows well, shouldnt i get something different? But that's not the main reason of getting another laptop. My current laptop which is dv2000 is giving me too much cost to maintain it. This would be the second time it gets back from a repair and it cost about rm400. If it keeps going on, it will sum up to a price which i can actually buy a new laptop already. Does that gives a clear reason why im obtaining a new laptop?

If you ask me what i think about Mac/Apple notebook 2 or more years back. I'll reply you ...
1. MacBook sux
2. Cannot play games
3. Cannot support many applications
4. So mafan need to convert this and that file format
5. Who da hell is Steve Jobs? Dunno him ...
6. When i started using a PC, as in a baby sucking a pacifier, ive grown up with Windows and im sticking to it =)

Now and after getting more matured ...
1. Wow its prestigious. Can show off
2. Presentable for formal purposes
3. Most girls love it =) *wink*
4. As a matter of fact, its a personal desire (its like why people wants to get BMW)
5. Expensive but it represents quality
6. To become more adventurous in exploring the world of Mac

So, by looking at my past and present opinion, we can actually look at the pros and cons already. Anyhow, its still in consideration. Somewhat, somehow, sometime i might fall into Sony =).

Actually you know what. When I buy laptop, my first priority will be the design. Not the specs or price LoL! If you want to look at the specs and the price worth, Dell will beat hands down. Sorry to Dell users, but to say i absolutely think that the Dell-looking-plastic-cover does look cheap and so not classy =).

Okayla, enough said. Im either getting a coloured Sony or an invisible MacBook Air. MSI Wind? All in consideration ... hmmm parents coming back tmr =). Nightz peep ..

The Day has Gone ...

Finally, the 2 weeks on SAP intensive training has ended. Pretty fast actually. Suprisingly, "we" are able to wake up early and not even one of the 10 days we are late. Pretty amazing huh? Alan everyday woke up at 750am but the class only starts at 9. Amazing huh ... very amazing xD The reason? Too kiasu cause don't want sit behind ...

9am - 5pm is quite suffering for the first few days, eventually it gets better after 5 days. Things are still new to us, as our background is like one end to the business side. However we manage to catch up lah, hopefully we don't forget stuff after 2 weeks, which will be our exam to obtain the cert. Thankfully there's Alan and Yong accompanying me. If not, i'll be dead bored in the class. Cracking extremely lame jokes with Alan in the class really makes me loose concerntration xD. Oh ya, i have very good teammates too, Alan and new teammate Joel. Out of 6 groups for the test, we're not the last !!! ROFLMAO ( twice of the test marks was unexpected xD ).

Everyone thought SAP is for computing student i shall say NO. The cert im taking is all about Business Process flow such as financial and management accounting, sales order management, manufacturing process and bla bla bla bla .... all in general. Its quite sucky for me because im a computing student and this knowledge will bring me no where unless i group myself as a businessman.

On the other hand, there's actually another cert which is prone to progamming, which is the ABAP training. Most probably if i hook myself up with SAP, i will do that training.

Well, now my personality has switched from a Programmer into a Businessman. Last time im always trying to relate my daily life with those programming stuff like "if ... else ..." but now, everything is like"this restaurant sux because they do not have a proper sales order".

2 weeks is actully very fast, there goes my one month holiday .... "sigh". Eventhough the course has ended now, but there's still an exam!

Oh yea, didn't get to meet up with Lawrence before he left for RMIT. It's okay ... i'll see you there next year =)

Ahhh .... im getting some rest now .... so used to waking up at 8, now im taking a rest, wait la few days before exam only study xD. My laptop not yet fixed, yeebai, take longer than last time. So fcked' up.

Im planning to get an MSI Wind, .... or should i get Asus eee 1001? or wait for Dell E which will be releasing in August. Hmmm still havent get a Service Contract( agreement ) with my parents, going to make noise until they agree xD xD xD xD.

Last a week ....

Wow ... time flies really fast. I finally survived a week of SAP Headache pills. Yay! =) One more week to go and i will be moving a step closer to obtain my cert which cost me 5k. Better be good ...

zzzz SAP sux man. I said i study computing because i do not want to touch anything about accounting. Mana tau im studying Accounting now because of this SAP. Thank You. Nevertheless, i have to work hard for it since i've paid the amount for it. No turning back. Said before to myself, "Don't follow the U-Turn sign, Instead the Jalan Sehala sign".




Over spent a lil bit on Haagen-Dazz today. Was great though. Hope tomorrow would be a better day ...

Today

Anyway, today i was at the Pavillion with my parents to get my dad a light winter jacket. Tomorrow they are flying off to London liao for my bro's graduation. So im back at Ridzuan until they are back.

Dam funny, at first my dad went in the GAP store and found this jacket cost 300++. He insist to get it but my mom said we should take a look at other store. Leaving the store, he said "I'll definitely come back and buy this later".

While looking for other shops, my dad keep asking stop buying cheap stuff, where are those branded stores? Then i showed him Burberry. Wah ... when you enter the shop you can feel the aura already. We walked to the men's site and found this really suitable jacket. Simple and nice but too bad they didn't had the size M for him. Only got S. Then i told mum to look at the price tag.

Roflmao, so shocked when the price comes out to be almost 2k !!! Haha ... luckily they had a 50% discount for it. Its about 800++. So the actual cost of the jacket doesnt reach to that ultimate price. Too bad they didnt have the size M, so we leave the store. But my dad really likes that jacket. If there's a size for him, he'll definitely get that already.

Going to the neighbour, it was Hugo Boss. Same standard with less discount. Design not so nice. So its a No No.

Entering to the next neighbour. Roflmao, Canali offers a bettter price ! RM4200!!! Roflmao ...

Then we walked out, when we are about to enter back the GAP shop, my dad says "Aiyer, now go back to the GAP shop like very chap-plang adi la -_-". LoL

Haha ... okay enough story. He ended up buying the DKNY one. Guess yourself how much it was.

Yesterday

Just came back from Lorek's luxurious new suite having a computer fiesta over there. It was great. He kidnapped me for 2 nights. The meal we had was quite costly though. But its okay since i don't spend like that oftenly.

Second night was at korean restaurant called what ady ar? Something sounds like Doraemon.

There's only pictures for this korean restaurant we dined in cause my phone camera sux, it cant take photos outdoor especially during the night.

Oh okay, the shop's name DaoRae. Told u it sounded something like Doraemon.

Okaylah, not bad la the food. The house also not bad. The swimming pool also not bad. The sleeping place also not bad. But i think i have a better sleeping time during the second night cause i stole lorek's blanket.

Dam tiring the 2 nights. It was fun though. Haihz ... back to school on Monday T.T How i wish i have another week to relax.
