Booby's Blog: Trip 2 : The Gold Trail Adventure

And so here it is ... Ballarat the Gold Trail, which is my second day trip adventure.

So first, we visited the Gold Museum. Lotsa lotsa gold nuggets to be seen and other things as well just like other museum.

As soon as we leave the museum, after looking through the souvenir shop as well, we crossed opposite the road to Sovereign Hill.

The place for famous historic gold mining. Its more like a cowboy city to me, with real horses that smells full of shyt. Horse dam smelly wafak.

The whole area is like a small town. Houses like the ones in the picture above along the streets, the set-ups and cowboyish environment.

We went into the Underground Gold Mine Adventure, quite creepy with speakers equipped at the ceiling of the tunnel making those weird sound and scary noises.

Now i know why those game like RO always have places like haunted gold mine with walking skeletons in it, its really creepy.

And so, we went in with a mini metal trail .... i thought it will be exciting as there will be lotsa stuffs to be spotted on the way ...

Zzzz ... after it stops, we went down and walk around the tunnel. At least we have some spotlight now but it's still really dark inside, so can't take any photos. The tunnel is really like a gold mine place. Quite a good experience though ...

Continue our walk after we come out from the underground tunnel.

Then we went to the Gold Panning area.

There's this mini river flowing and we were taught on how to retrieve gold from the river using the kuali like thingy lol.

Cannot find big gold bars la off course ....

Well, at least Alan managed to find some gold dust ... LuLz

After that, we went to watch the Blacksmith show.

First time watching a real gold bar melts and its really shiny in liquid form! And soon it is transformed back into solid state.
