Penang Walkaway

Just came back from Penang. Exhausted and tiring. After 10 yrs of not visiting Penang, it sure does change ALOT, hell lot.

So dam many cars, and narrow roads. Urgh.

First stop at Bidor. Ngap Tui Min.

Took our first dinner at Gurney Drive.

Crazy crowded. Cars and people.

Jam all the way there since the start of Tune Hotel.


Ate a lot which includes lor bak, char kuey teow, fried oyster, apom etc. Price was okay.

Due to the crazy jam and cars, video below ... come on' its already 1030.



.. chilled at Coffee Bean, watched manyoo vs newcastle match until about 1245am then leave peacefully without getting stucked in the crazy jam.

Still a lot of cars thou.

Next day relax at Batu Ferringhi, like a boss.


Then drove over to Hardrock to have a look. Very nice inside, awesomeness till the max.


Then drove down all the way south, to Queensbay Mall. Another crazy experience.

F**king hell lotsa cars man. Its like 100x worst than 1utama during weekends afternoon.

Imagine.

The autopay machine was so dam freakiiiiinnnnggg long. We saw it when we parked our car.

Frightened and nightmare.

Asked someone to pick us from there and escape the nightmare =)

Crazy queue at the autopay.

First dinner, some seafood noodle.

Then second round, was already very full.

Then jalan jalan at Straits Quay. Very highclass place.

Its like Waterfront City in Docklands, Melbourne.



There's jetty aside for rich people to station their boats.

Very nice lightings during the night.





Didn't went to the pub nearby, was quite tired. Still need to head back to Queensbay Mall and collect our car.

Overall the experience driving to Penang during a long weekend is crazy.

Every single part in Penang Island is freaking crowded with cars and jam jam jam on highways.

Somebody say nightmare already.
